Hi.  I’m Andrew.

I graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in English.  I write music, poems, short stories, and am working on my first novel.

I believe a lot of things.  I believe in the importance of friendship.  I believe in the strength of family.  I believe the people in your life are more important than anything you can accomplish.  I believe there’s still beauty in the future even though today doesn’t seem like much.  I believe in art, freedom of expression, and reaching out to those less fortunate than ourselves.

And I believe that between Batman and Superman, Batman ALWAYS wins.

More than that, I believe that words can change people, and that music can save lives.  Because words have changed me more times than I can count.  And music, in its own way, has saved my life.

I studied English to become a better writer, and to learn upon whose shoulders I need to stand.  I have been inspired to believe and hope and seek the truth by the words that I have studied.  And in turn, I want to inspire hope, faith and truth in others.  My life goal is to become a novelist, because stories are vital to us as human beings.  But the written word is only one way to do that.

I also desire to create music that is infused with hope and faith and truth, because music can lend a power to words that they could never have otherwise.  And like I said, music saves lives.

I want to be involved with like-minded people, bonding with them and creating a brotherhood between band members, fans, and everyone we meet.  I believe there’s potential for healing and to work toward a better world together, and I believe youth is where most of that potential lies, and what brings youth together more than the music we love?

Anything else you want to know, my email address is ajclark2 at liberty dot edu.  Don’t hesitate to get in touch.  We could all use more friends these days.

This is more than a blog about marketing music.
